i accidentally bit an area near my lips few days ago. It seemed okay, but i bit the same area AGAIN. Then anxious to chomp my food down, i made another bite there AGAIN.
now my mouth is a warzone. Too painful to open my mouth to talk or eat. Had to eat non spicy versions of my favourite dishes, and eat less.
what a great way to slim down and save money.

tired
fell ill after kayak. I knew something was wrong when i had dinner on sat. Throat was itching.
wanted to see a doc on mon, but the freaking clinic was bursting with people. On tue i was coughing badly, had no choice but to go back. Luckily, the crowd was more forgiving. Had a splitting headache after sleeping for few hours, was literally shouting my head off.
i had enough. Enough of my sickness. Enough of my current lag in studies. Finally enough of someone. ENOUGH.

100th post - as a sick man
yipee, i have just taken my medicine. Before i go to sleep, just a short post.
Wednesday night lecture - GEK1531 Cybercrime

Carl's Jr Vivomy flu just refused to go away. On tuesday my nose was running all day, luckily i pulled myself to do all the routine stuff on that day itself. Then on wednesday, the flu caused a sore throat, which caused my tension headache to visit me. By the time GEK1531 ended, i lost all my appetite for food. Even standing straight is a problem... Zhangwei should know.
on thursday, the symptoms kinda remained with an extra member - itchy cough! I decided, just spend some money to see a doctor. After a really looooong wait, he told me my immunity is low, thus he suggested Vit C tablets. Fine, just take it and poof off.
however i hate taking medicine, unless i have to. CS3214 is taking its tolls on me, so the medicine is a must so i can keep that module (and the rest) in good momentum. However i shall try to step up my immunity the natural way... by exercising.
5 medicine, 2 of them drowsy. OMG...

5 medicine, 2 of them drowsy. OMG...also wrote a long email to team members explaining my lethargy during the past few days. Administrative matters can kill...
this is also my 100th post, sadly feeling unwell now.
to those who are expecting me to turn up for AHM this sunday.... i'm sorry i might have to be a pilot (guessed you know what meanng). I cannot risk it by running 21km under a persistent flu, then suffer downtime for a few more days, and thus throwing my 8 credits CS3214 into the sea. It's simply suicide both ways - my life and studies. My CAP is too low to take up nasty surprises now...
good night peeps.

sick :(
the stupid flu on thursday was a warning sign. Heck, i didn't really care about it. When i woke up with a coarse throat on friday, that was it.
although i enjoyed the tomyam soup, fried wings and chilli kangkong from ThaiExpress yesterday, i was a dead man after that. Even HK say i pua beh liao =x
enjoying my new diet - strepsils, painkiller for my headache, flu meddy. SONG BO!!!
ps: Reyas, thanks for being my colleague and classmate for the past year and 8 months. What you told me may be quite a heartpain to hear, but you've made the first move to be truly marketable in the working society. Sure, the civil service might be paying you nicely, but there is a dependency on it after some time. One of the strategic HRM quotes - focus on your employability, not employment security in the new paradigm.
Cheers and take care in your new job.

... and going to fall sick!
i'm having a sore throat plus slight cough these days.
Gary recommended me Leftose for my throat, Benadryl for cough. Thanks for the suggestion; now i know Guardian is the shop for GP-ed medicine.
doing my finances right now. Apart from the normal expenses, i have spent on a handphone, and need to reserve $492 for my flight booking. Headache.
now i realised all my Prudential policies are on the chopping board, because they are simply not performing well. It's partially my fault for not reading up in the first place.
So for all who are planning to purchase Prudential/AIA policies, i have something to forewarn. Be aware that their products may not be the best among all. Financial agents are trained to close sales by attacking YOUR psychological fears and may unethically recommend highly profitable policies that don't provide you with basic risk coverage (and then pocket 6-12 months of your hard earned premiums depending on the nature of policy),
Once you signed on the dotted line you're in trouble. Yes, there are free-look periods, but your advisor will try to persuade you not to terminate. If you don't know of better products elsewhere, you'd probably be convinced and carry on. Until you realise you're screwed 20-25 years down the road.
the first plan to be killed was PruShield, whose offering was poorer than many others. Although they realised it by revamping it, it's too late. I've already crossed over to NTUC Enhanced IncomeShield.
the second plan is PruCash (lose all my premiums as a punishment), for other better alternatives. At the end of the year, my PruLink SA II will be cut too. I will probably retain my PruLink A for retirement purpose, and the latter's advisor has been serving me well (thanks WG).
i'm sorry if any of my affected advisors are reading, but after reading a little i believe my money can be better grown elsewhere.
